澜湄合作2023年度十大新闻发布暨“有一种叫云南的生活”走进北京新春活动正式举行。
活动上，来自湄公河国家的外交官们
用中文相互道春节祝福。
Officially held on January 31st, the Release of the Top 10 News Stories on 2023 Lancang-Mekong Cooperation (LMC) and the "Yunnan: A Many-splendored Life" promotion in Beijing before Spring Festival invited diplomats from Mekong countries to send each other Chinese New Year greetings in the Chinese language.

手工剪纸、十二生肖拓印、云南特色美食……

一起体验“有一种叫云南的生活”。
With vibrant red lanterns, Dongba character couplets, paper-cuttings, Chinese Zodiac frottage art, and Yunnan's special cuisines, diplomats and guests from China, Myanmar, Laos, Thailand, Cambodia, and Vietnam experienced the unique flavor of Yunnan’s life together.
“我属龙，今年是龙年，我要印个龙。”
越南驻华大使馆一等秘书裴家海在丽江十二生肖拓印展位，高兴地和家人展示着自己的拓印作品，热闹的氛围让他感受到了浓浓的中国年味。
"I was born in the year of the dragon. 2024 is also the year of dragon, so I want to make its image by frottage art," said Bui Gia Hai, First Secretary of the Vietnamese Embassy in China. He then displayed his artwork to his family at Lijiang’s frottage art booth, enjoying the strong festive atmosphere with them.
“年俗体验区展示了云南的民族歌舞、特产风物和非遗产品，每一个展位都很吸引我。”
在展区来了一场云南“旅行”的缅甸驻华大使馆公使衔参赞杜欣玛泰畅谈道，“希望今年能到云南过泼水节，亲身体验‘有一种叫云南的生活’。”
"The experience area shows traditional activities of Chinese New Year, and Yunnan's ethnic songs and dances, local products, and intangible cultural heritage," said Zin Mar Htwe, Minister Counsellor of Myanmar Embassy in China. She also expressed her excitement, adding, "Every booth is very attractive to me. I hope to experience the Water Splashing Festival in Yunnan this year to enjoy the many-splendored Yunnan life."
“这是我第一次‘游云南’，丽江香甜酥脆的水酥饼、口感丝滑的普洱孟连牛油果、喷香可口的红河石屏小豆腐，色泽红亮的临沧滇红茶……以后一定要去一趟云南，亲自体验。”柬埔寨王国驻华大使馆一等秘书美金对云南赞不绝口。
"This is my first time to Yunnan. I love the food. The Lijiang cakes with crispy wrapper, the delicious Menglian avocado, roasted Shiping tofu are all attractive,” praised Hor Dolla, First Secretary at the Royal Embassy of Cambodia in China, “and I must visit Yunnan again to experience them all."
“云南的傣族、壮族、瑶族、哈尼族与老挝的一些少数民族不仅语言相通，在民风民俗方面也有相似之处。‘有一种叫云南的生活’就是多姿多彩的民族风情。”
老挝驻华大使馆教育文化参赞靳达望说。
"Yunnan's Dai, Zhuang, Yao, Hani peoples have similarities with some ethnic groups in Laos, not only in language but also in customs," said Chindavong XAIYASIN, Education and Culture Counsellor of the Embassy of Lao PDR in China, “and I think Yunnan’s life is about ethnic charm.”
活动上，中国外文局、云南省南亚东南亚区域国际传播中心等单位共同评选出的“澜湄合作2023年度十大新闻”发布，展示中国参与澜湄地区合作的丰硕成果，深化澜湄六国心心相通、亲如一家的澜湄情谊。
During the event, the China International Communications Group, Yunnan Int’l Communication Center for S&SE Asia and others jointly released the top 10 news stories of the LMC in 2023, showcasing the fruitful results of China's participation in regional cooperation with the Mekong countries, and the deep friendship among the six nations.
